Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all online payments, deposits and bookings made with AutoAid Mobile Mechanic. Please read carefully before making a payment.
1. Deposits & Advance Payments
Some repairs require a deposit before booking is confirmed (including but not limited to clutches, turbos, timing belts and major mechanical work).
- Deposits secure your booking slot and parts ordering.
- Deposits are non-refundable once parts have been ordered.
- If no parts have been ordered, you may cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice to receive a refund.
2. Cancellations
- Bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may lose their deposit.
- Missed appointments without notice are fully chargeable.
- AutoAid reserves the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather, breakdown, illness or safety.
3. Diagnostics & Call-Out Fees
- Diagnostic fees and call-out charges are non-refundable once a technician has attended.
- Diagnosis covers time, travel, equipment and expertise.
4. Parts Supplied
- Special-order parts cannot be refunded once installed.
- If a supplied part is faulty, it will be handled under manufacturer warranty.
- Electrical and programmed parts are non-refundable once fitted.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 3–10 working days depending on your bank.
6. Disputes & Chargebacks
Any disputes should be raised directly with AutoAid before contacting your bank. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent refusal of future service.
