AutoAid Warrington – Breakdown Membership Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all AutoAid Warrington breakdown membership plans: Basic, Plus, Extra, and Premium.
By subscribing to any membership, you agree to the following terms.

1. Membership Eligibility

  1. Membership covers private cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes.

  2. Vehicles must be:

    • roadworthy

    • have valid MOT (if applicable)

    • taxed and insured

  3. All cover is strictly local, within the Warrington (WA) boundary, unless otherwise stated for your plan.

2. Monthly Payment & Contract

  1. Membership is a rolling monthly agreement.

  2. Payments are taken automatically each month via card or payment method selected at checkout.

  3. Membership begins immediately, once the first successful payment is received.

  4. Payments are non-refundable after cover becomes active.

3. Callout Rules

  1. Members receive the number of benefits included in their plan (listed below).

  2. Callouts are limited to 1 per 24 hours.

  3. AutoAid Warrington reserves the right to refuse service if:

    • the vehicle is unroadworthy due to neglect

    • faults existed before membership was purchased

    • membership is used fraudulently or excessively

4. Waiting Period

To prevent immediate sign-up abuse:

A 48-hour activation period applies before you can make a claim, unless upgrading from a lower AutoAid plan.
Emergency activation may be available at additional cost.

5. What Each Plan Includes

BASIC – £5/month

  • Breakdown recovery within Warrington boundary

  • Roadside assistance & jump starts

  • Wheel change using your spare

  • Fuel top-up if you run out (fuel cost extra)

  • Priority booking line

Recovery limit: up to 3 miles within Warrington.

PLUS – £8/month

Includes everything in Basic, plus:

  • Home-start (vehicle won’t start at home)

  • Short-distance recovery to home or local garage (up to 5 miles)

  • Battery test & terminal clean where needed

  • Priority same-day response where possible

Recovery limit: up to 5 miles.

EXTRA – £10/month

Includes everything in Plus, plus:

  • Local recovery up to 10 miles

  • Cover for one additional driver in the same household

  • Evening & weekend callouts (within opening hours)

Recovery limit: up to 10 miles.

PREMIUM – £12/month

Includes everything in Extra, plus:

  • Longer-distance local recovery up to 25 miles

  • Cover for one additional vehicle in the same household

  • Priority booking for evening & weekend callouts

  • 10% discount on major repairs (labour only) carried out by AutoAid

  • Ideal for families or multiple drivers

Recovery limit: up to 25 miles.

6. What Is Not Included (Exclusions)

Membership does not cover:

  • Non-roadworthy or unsafe vehicles

  • Vehicles involved in an accident (collision recovery charged separately)

  • Lost keys or immobiliser faults

  • Specialist recovery (4x4 winching, ditch extraction, off-road recovery, etc.)

  • Tyres, parts, fluids, or fuel costs

  • Repeat callouts for the same fault without repair

  • Recovery outside the mileage included in your plan

Additional miles are charged at £2 per mile.

7. Cancellation

  1. You may cancel anytime through your account or by contacting us.

  2. Cancellation stops future payments but does not refund previous months.

  3. If you cancel within an active callout window (after requesting assistance), AutoAid may refuse cancellation until the job is fully completed.

8. Misuse of Membership

Membership may be suspended or terminated without refund if:

  • false information is provided

  • multiple callouts occur for an un-repaired fault

  • the service is used for commercial fleet recovery without a fleet plan

  • abuse or harassment of staff occurs

9. Liability

AutoAid Warrington is not liable for:

  • delays caused by traffic, weather, or third-party conditions

  • loss of income, business interruption, or indirect damages

  • personal belongings inside the vehicle

We will always aim to reach you as quickly as possible, typically 30–60 minutes depending on workload.

By purchasing a membership plan, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
AutoAid Warrington reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
