Customer-Supplied Parts
We can fit customer-supplied parts where suitable. This page explains what we can and can’t fit, and how labour / warranty works — so everything is clear before we book you in.
What we can usually fit
- Brake pads / discs (quality brands preferred)
- Batteries (correct spec, correct terminals)
- Alternators / starter motors (if correct part confirmed)
- Sensors (ABS, crank, cam, etc.)
- Suspension arms / drop links / track rod ends
- Service parts (oil/filter/air/cabin filters) if correct spec
Not sure if your part is correct? Send a photo of the part number + your reg on WhatsApp and we’ll check.
Send part detailsWhat we don’t fit (or may refuse)
- Unknown / unbranded parts where quality is risky
- Used / second-hand safety-critical parts (brakes/steering/suspension)
- Parts that clearly don’t match the vehicle spec
- “Cheap copies” that commonly fail early
- Anything that requires unsafe work conditions on-site
If we arrive and the part is wrong/unsafe, we can still carry out diagnostics or refit original parts where possible.
Labour & warranty (how it works)
This is standard across garages and mobile mechanics — it protects both of us and keeps pricing fair.
Before we attend
- Send your reg + postcode + what’s happening
- Send the part number / link (if you’ve bought it already)
- Tell us if the vehicle is drivable or non-start
- Let us know if you need evening/weekend
Pricing notes
- We confirm labour pricing before starting work.
- If access is worse than expected (rust/seized bolts), we’ll explain before continuing.
- If we can’t complete due to wrong/unsafe part, a call-out/diagnostic charge may apply.
Want us to supply the part instead? We can quote supply & fit and you’ll have a simpler warranty route.
